The new ASV+ only fits on the riflescope ranges VICTORY HT, Victory Diavari, Victory Varipoint iC and Classic Diavari (available from June 2012). The Victory FL Diavari can be fitted with the previous ASV. The previous ASV is not designed for use with the VICTORY HT.

The laser rangefinder is capable of measuring a distance of 10 to 999 metres.

The ASV is normally envisaged for adjustment up to 400 metres. We can, however, also engrave special rings for the ASV upon request. Our customer service will be happy to help you with this.

Some 30 years after Carl Zeiss broke through the 90% transmission threshold in the design of its binoculars and riflescopes, the new optical concept, combined with the innovative high transmission (HT) lenses from SCHOTT have now achieved unrivalled transmission values of up to 95% and more. In addition, the HT illuminated reticles lose no light at all, which gives the advantage of several percentage points in terms of transmission.
This advantage is clearly visible in the final, critical moments of twilight.

The Varipoint iC riflescopes can be combined with the Blaser R8 and R93.

To be able to connect the activation of the illuminated dot with the cocking of the rifle, a defined mounting distance is necessary. This requirement is optimally met by means of an inner rail.

The two systems communicate using a sensor in the riflescope and a magnet in the cocking slide. Because the mounting position can vary slightly, the distance from the sensor to the cocking slide can also vary. It is necessary to set it up so that the sensor can determine the position of the cocking slide clearly. You can read how this works in our assembly instructions.

Retrofitting of a Victory Varipoint device to a Varipoint iC device is unfortunately not possible due to the extensive electronics and the different shape.

The parallax error occurs if the game is a long distance away and the shooter looks into the eyepiece at a slight angle. Then the image and reticle are shifted next to each other slightly. Because the Victory FL Diavari riflescopes are especially designed for shooting over long distances, they are equipped with adjustable parallax compensation for the range of 50 m to infinity. With precise focussing, you then have no parallax errors even with high magnifications or angled views, and the reticle and image are at the same image plane and are razor-sharp.

The Victory FL Diavari 6-24x72 T* is not normally available with the Rapid-Z^® reticle. However, conversion is possible at any time. Our customer service team in Wetzlar would be happy to help you further with this.

The ASV can be retrofitted and the reticle can be converted to Rapid-Z^®. This way you can then select between one of the two concepts.

Only non-illuminated reticles are available for Victory Diavari riflescopes.
The Victory Varipoint iC riflescopes are equipped with a dimmable illuminated dot, which is even suitable for hunting during the day. In addition, the illumination control is coupled to the operation of the rifle (Blaser R93 und Blaser R8) with the Victory Varipoint iC riflescopes.

The Classic Diatal riflescopes are equipped with a fixed magnification that cannot be adjusted.

The Duralyt devices were developed with optimised costs. This way, the assembly times in the Wetzlar factory in particular were reduced. The devices thus have a more simple construction than our more expensive product lines. The choice of equipment and reticle types is also reduced to a minimum: Two reticles are available, but no rail and no BCD. However, no compromises were made in terms of precision and reliability.

The Duralyt riflescopes have been reduced to the basics: Functionality and robustness.
If you would like to have innovative solutions such as BDC (bullet drop compensation), illumination control or special ballistic reticles, we recommend the riflescopes from the Victory or CONQUEST lines.

The Duralyt riflescopes are manufactured at Carl Zeiss in Wetzlar – in other words, “Made in Germany”.

The push-button control was chosen in order to optimise costs and due to the particular simplicity of the concept. Due to the ergonomic aspects, the more expensive rotating dial solution used for the Classic and Victory lines remains unsurpassed. This offers superior operating comfort in comparison to push-buttons, but means that customers have to become familiar with the basic concept.

The advantage of the Z-Point is that it is supplied with energy by a solar cell in daylight. This extends the life of the battery. Battery life is extended dramatically thanks to this system. As a safety feature, the dot will start to blink repeatedly when there is three hours of battery life left, plenty of time to give the user an opportunity to change out the battery.

Press the function key to turn it on. Each subsequent pressing of the key increases the intensity. Five levels are available.
Hold the button to turn it off. The last intensity selected is saved and is available again the next time it is turned on.

The Compact Point Standard is suitable for mounting on Picatinny / Weaver rails.The Compact Point Blaser can be mounted onto the Blaser R93 directly thanks to integrated MAKnetic mounting.

On the basis that aiming is over shorter distances, parallax does not, in practice, play any role with the Compact Point. It is parallax-free at 40m.

The Victory Pocket Rangefinder is an alternative to the Victory Rangefinder binoculars with fully-integrated range finding capability. This monocular rangefinder also has the Ballistic Information System BIS^® and is very compact. This way, the Victory 8x26 T* PRF can be easily carried in addition to high-quality binoculars (such as the Victory FL or VICTORY HT).

The 20x60 T* S does have a large lens diameter, however its suitability for use in twilight is limited due to the high magnification. A Victory 8x56 T* FL, for example, would be better suited for use in twilight conditions.

By the way: The twilight factor alone is not an indication of the suitability for use in twilight conditions. A large eye relief and of course - in addition to the purely numerical sizes - the actual performance of binoculars, in terms of image sharpness, transmission and contrast reproduction is more important.

No, there is no direct AV interface for live transmission of images on a television, because this is primarily a device for outdoor use.

The Dual Speed Focus combines two focussing speeds in one knob. If you rotate the knob to the left or right, you will feel a little resistance in the outer areas. Within this area, you are in fine mode.
If you rotate through this resistance, you are in coarse mode. As soon as you change the direction in coarse mode, you are in fine mode again. Try this principle a few times. It is very easy and can be operated quickly and intuitively.

This is unfortunately not possible at a reasonable cost, because the mechanical dimensions of the eyepiece would have to be changed for the safety catch.

It is not possible to compare the Dialyt and Victory DiaScope, because the devices are in different classes: The Victory DiaScope has been designed for the best viewing experience without compromise and offers a range of interchangeable eyepieces for all applications. The Dialyt, in contrast, is reduced to the basics in order to be used quickly - even in adverse conditions - and to quickly recognise fine details at a great distance. The Dialyt is therefore for identification and not for visual experience. Compact dimensions, low weight, maximum robustness and not least an acceptable price - these are the Dialyt qualities. Both devices offer extremely high transmission values for their respective class.

The coating of external lenses with LotuTec^® is a highly complex process that takes place during the production process. Subsequent coating is not possible.

Small damage that may appear innocuous may have undesirable side effects – for example, a tiny dent in a binocular or riflescope caused by a hard knock. At first, the functionality of the riflescope seems to be unaffected, but in many cases the damaged object can no longer be guaranteed to be 100 percent waterproof. That means – even with a waterproof housing, moisture may seep through. The result of that small dent: lenses can steam up internally.

Klaus Felgenhauer, Head of Customer Service in Wetzlar, is constantly working to cut repair times: “In the last five years we have completely restructured our customer service operations. While waiting times used to be considerably longer, today we get all repairs done in an average of six working days – depending on the complexity, age and type of product. This does not take delivery times into account. In 80 per cent of cases we are now even managing an average processing time of maximum five working days.”

ZEISS products are sometimes stolen. Please contact us immediately if this should happen and give us the serial number. Astonishingly, stolen items of equipment occasionally turn up with us in customer services, and we are then able to inform the customer who suffered the theft. At the same time the personal warranty card serves as proof of ownership.
