CONQUEST. The robust, one-piece tube bodies of Conquest riflescopes are built to stand up to the most abusive recoil and demanding terrains. Designed to meet the needs of every hunting style and scenario, Conquest scopes excel in whatever situation presents itself. Available with a variety of reticles, including RAPID-Z ,® Conquest scopes feature ZEISS MC coating for enhanced light transmission, anodized finishes, and are waterproof, dustproof, and nitrogen filled to prevent fogging.

Whether you are looking for simple plex type reticles for low light closer range hunting, or the enhanced long range capabilities our Rapid-Z reticles, Carl Zeiss has a reticle and scope combination that is sure to maximize your experience and help provide clean, ethical shots.
Reticle 8
non-illuminated
The "No. 8" is found only in the Conquest 3-12x56 model and is ideally well suited for very low light conditions.
Reticle 20 Z-Plex
non-illuminated
The historically functional and perfectly clean #20 Plex reticle is adaptable to almost any hunting or shooting application no matter the caliber or the distance. The #20 Plex allows for precise shot placement with a thin inner crosshair thickness designed for long range shooting and the added flexibility of the heavier outer posts for close quarters or targets in low light. Used in combination with a lockable ballistic target turret the #20 Plex can quickly and accurately handle very long encounters with your next trophy.
Reticle 43

This reticle also gives you the option of estimating distances.
The very fine central crosshairs carry a number of points, which lie exactly 10 cm apart at 100 m at 12 x magnification. The angle between the points is equal to 1 milliradian = 10 cm / 100 m.
Questions & Answers
Will Conquest MC riflescopes hold up under the same recoil as Victory series scopes?
ALL Zeiss riflescopes and red-dot sights are rated to the same recoil resistance of 1,500 ‘g’s at 1 millisecond. This is about 4x the recoil of a .460 Weatherby Magnum. They will also handle the reverse recoil cycles of rifles with muzzle brakes as well as that of airguns.
What are the differences between Conquest and Victory Series riflescopes?
Conquest scopes are not available with illumination systems except for the Conquest Duralyt riflescopes. The key difference is that while the Conquest series riflescopes use excellent glass types, the Victory series use a more premium selection of glasses and also a different optical design in terms of the lens system, etc. The optical performance in the Conquest scopes is excellent though that in the Victory riflescopes more so.
What Options does ZEISS offer for long range hunting and shooting in the Conquest MC series of riflescopes?
Carl Zeiss offers both reticle and adjustment knob solutions for those who engage in long-range shooting and hunting. ZEISS Rapid-Z® reticles are available in 4 different formats in Conquest MC riflescopes depending on reticle style and riflescope selection.
These include the Rapid-Z®600, Rapid-Z® 800, Rapid-Z® 1000 and Rapid-Z® Varmint. These allow for visual holdover and windage compensation with drop lines and windage marks in the reticle pattern.
For those customers preferring simpler reticles with the option for mechanical adjustment, ZEISS provides several long-range riflescopes already delivered with external target-type adjustment knobs in both Victory and Conquest series riflescopes. Most current production ZEISS riflescopes can also be converted to accept target-type knobs as an aftermarket service through our service facility in Chester, Va.
Custom target knobs, calibrated to the specific ammunition and atmospheric conditions (altitude, temperature, etc.) can be ordered through Kenton Industries. (Kentonindustries.com)
