95% transmission was definitely an outstanding benefit in its favor: the VICTORY HT 10x42 has received the "Goldener Keiler" award at the Jagd und Hund hunting fair in Dortmund, Germany.
Up to 95% and more light transmission - this revolutionary brightness allows you to experience nature in a whole new dimension. The new VICTORY HT binoculars feature an innovative optical concept: SCHOTT HT high transmission glass, Carl Zeiss T* multi-layer coating, and Abbe-König-prism systems result in a set of binoculars with unrivalled brightness, making it possible for you to observe for earlier and later in the day. The unique, elegant design, features particularly innovative ergonomics. The new Comfort-Focus-Concept, for one, makes the brightest premium binoculars in the world extremely easy to use.
Here you find the top features of the VICTORY HT binoculars.
Unrivalled brightness, thanks to a light transmission of up to 95% and more, which is the unique result of the innovative optical concept of the VICTORY HTs. The perfect interplay of SCHOTT HT-glass, the Carl Zeiss T* multi-layer coating, and the Abbe-König-prism system allows you to observe for longer than ever before when out hunting - even in the deepest twilight or under the heaviest canopy.
The best optics, and the easiest to use in the field: that is the promise of the new Comfort-Focus-Concept. The unusually large focusing wheel is set well forwards on the bridge. This means it is easy to turn with your index finger – even wearing gloves. Plus the finely tuned long gear ratio makes focusing quick and precise.
The extremely robust construction offers the very highest levels of precision and durability. The housing, with its innovative Double-Link-Bridge, is made of high-tensile, ultra-light magnesium. The focusing wheel is securely embedded between the bridges. This means that the VICTORY HT is perfectly equipped for use even in the most extreme conditions.
The brightest binoculars are also the most brilliant. The tried and tested FL-concept enhances the entire observation experience: image sharpness and color brilliance at a whole new level. Through the use of special fluoride glass you will hardly notice any chromatic aberrations at all. The FL-concept is a guarantee of outstanding imaging performance and high contrast images.
Enjoy fascinating image quality whatever the weather. The LotuTec® coating ensures that water simply rolls off the lenses and dirt can be removed without a trace.
The elegant and ergonomic design makes the VICTORY HT binoculars far easier to use. The particularly slim construction of the Double-Link-Bridge and an extremely large grip on the lens barrels make these binoculars exceptionally natural and easy to handle. This ensures smooth imaging in any situation, however they are held. In this way the design supports the highest standards of perfect visual experiences.

Some 30 years after Carl Zeiss broke through the 90% transmission threshold in the design of its binoculars and riflescopes, its new optical concept, combined with the innovative high transmission (HT) lenses from SCHOTT have now achieved unrivalled transmission values of up to 95% and more – which is around 5% better than the nearest rival.
The difference to the existing Victory FL range is just a few percentage points in terms of transmission, but is clearly visible in the final, critical moments of twilight.

ED = Extra low Dispersion = low chromatic aberrations
HD = High Definition. HD is not a type of lens. Instead it describes the result of the ED lenses: very good resolution
FL = Fluoride Lenses; a special, high-quality sub-category of the ED lenses
HT = High Transmission = lenses by SCHOTT with very good transmission properties.
We use HT in the sense of a complete HT concept: binoculars that are based on the FL binoculars but which have extremely high levels of light transmission. VICTORY HT binoculars also have FL and HT lenses.

Meaning of the abbreviations
FL
Binoculars or spotting scopes with glasses that contain fluoride (FL) for sharper, higher contrast images with significantly reduced chromatic aberrations; Fluoride Lenses; a special, high-quality sub-category of the ED lenses
GA
Previously used to designate Dialyt binoculars with rubber armour
T*
ZEISS T* multi-layer coating for extremely high transmission and low reflex susceptibility
MC
ZEISS multi-layer coating (multi coating)
P / P*
Phase correction coating on the roof prisms, which provide a higher resolution of the finest detail structures. All ZEISS binoculars with roof prisms use this coating
B
Previously used to designate binoculars that can be worn by people who wear glasses.
Now all ZEISS binoculars and spotting scope eyepieces are suitable for people who wear glasses, so the "B" designation is no longer used
S
Binoculars with mechanical image stabilisation
M
Riflescope models with ZEISS mounting rail.
iC
Riflescope with illumination control
ED
Extra low Dispersion = low chromatic aberrations
HD
High Definition. HD is not a type of lens. Instead it describes the result of the ED lenses: very good resolution
